Author’s Note: Written for fandomweekly, Prompt #245 „Werewolf“, it won first place. Since this vignette is all vibes and no plot, it could happen anywhere in the timeline. I decided on TA 3017, which would set this in Mirkwood during the time when Aragorn delivers Gollum to the woodelves. I would imagine he manages to take a little off-time while he’s in Mirkwood. All work and no play makes a ranger cranky, after all!
