I will not carry

into a new age.

Both moving and sensible! Elves of all people would surely have time to get over things (though I'm sure dinner-party invitations would have to be done very carefully for at least the first few millennia...).

I think Elves would have time to get over things, but they are by no means all of them the same in how long it takes them.
(Which would make those dinner-party invitations even more difficult!)
Elulindo is a bit ahead of the curve.

It might be harder to do, in some ways, with elvish memories, but also would get more important. Otherwise grudges would just accumulate endlessly...
