Author notes: For the ‘name’ idea; no acrostic, this time.

This fic is set soon after Elu Thingol’s Quenya ban. In this sort of situation, it is hard to decide what names the characters should use internally. I have chosen to go with Quenya names for both, that is: Ehtelë (Spring/foundatin/source) - ion for Ecthelion and Laurefindil for Glorfindel (golden-hair, but I think we all know that). According to the latest writings, Ecthelion really does mean sharp-resolve!
