Author's notes: This is my first attempt at song writing, hope it's not too bad (a new hobby I decided to tackle). As you can tell, I'm a fan of metal and that shows in the lyrics hehe.

I don't know much about song-writing or metal, but I think you did very well!
I like how you used the imagery and the rhymes.
It's clearly Idril, but you seem also be opening up the theme more widely.

Thanks! English rhymes are difficult. I wasn't too strict on myself but I did want the verses to be aesthetically pleasant, as there's no music track to back the lyrics.
